DAVID Beckham has always looked like he would have fancied his chances in a boyband – especially after his singing on the Jonathan Ross Show last week.
But his missus Victoria will be glad he's only posing up with The Wanted, not joining on a loan deal.
Jay McGuiness, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George and Tom Parker met Becks backstage at their Los Angeles show on Wednesday.
The LA Galaxy player took his sons Brooklyn and Romeo to see the lads at the El Rey Theatre.
The Wanted were repaying the favour after they sat in David's box at LA Galaxy last year. At least hanging around with Becks might keep them on the straight and narrow. The lads have been having serious tear-ups on their US tour.
Tom said: "We played a gay bar in LA. We'd just come back from Vegas and Max had a sprained ankle falling off a curb because he was so f*****.
"Jay couldn't even stand up on stage. We'd never done a club and two of our members didn't remember it the morning after. We didn't go on stage until 1am – but Max and Jay had done 16 hours' solid drinking."
